What We Collect & Why
We categorize data into two buckets: what's strictly necessary and what's purely optional. You control the optional.
Account & Communication
- Email address: To send your download link, receipt, and critical security updates. We never add you to marketing lists without your explicit permission.
- Support tickets: When you contact us, we keep your message and our correspondence to solve your issue and improve our help docs.
Device & Performance Data
- Device model & OS version: To ensure compatibility and optimize our app for your specific hardware. This data is anonymized for reporting.
- Crash reports (optional): We ask permission to collect anonymous error logs. This helps us fix bugs faster, but you can opt out entirely.
- Performance metrics: FPS, battery usage, thermal data—all used to calculate your personalized "Performance Score" and suggest optimizations.
Analytics (Opt-In Only)
We use a privacy-first, self-hosted analytics tool (Plausible). No cookies. No cross-site tracking. We only see:
- Pages visited (e.g., "Settings" or "Performance Tuner").
- Referring domain (e.g., came from Google or a direct link).
- General device type (mobile vs. desktop).
We cannot identify you from this data. It’s used only to prioritize feature development.
